Formally known as Wrapping the Earth One Stone At A Time, the W.E.O.S.A.A.T. Project began in 2008 as a ritual action to promote sensitivity to the unique biomes in which we live.

Wrapping a stone occupies the hands, stills the mind, and allows one to see, hear, smell and feel subtle qualities of the environment. A global call was issued and participants sent in their own photographs and strings from around the world. The images seen here are selections from my own work.

I wind the strings from each wrapped stone onto an ever-growing globe of string--a physical manifestation of the vested interest we all share in the large stone beneath our feet.
